Trump Swears Economy Is Great While Stocks Crash And Banks Warn Of Looming Recession

Donald Trump is trying to convince the country that the economy is doing better than ever, but it doesn't look like anyone is buying that. At the same time that Trump was telling us that everything was fine, the stock market was crashing and banks were warning that a recession could be right around the corner. 

 Donald Trump may have lost a very valuable ally, as even Joe Rogan is not happy about his deportations. Rogan came out against the administration's policies in a recent episode of his podcast after he learned that innocent people are being shipped to the torture prison in El Salvador. Rogan had been supportive of Trump's immigration policies in the past, so if even he thinks they've become too extreme then things must be really bad. 

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced this week that it was "case closed" on the Signal chat leak scandal, and nobody is going to be punished for anything, nor are there any indications that their methods are going to change. The problem for Leavitt and the administration is that it is NOT "case closed," and the American public is still demanding answers and accountability for those responsible for this careless act. 

Donald Trump doesn't have many allies left across the globe, and the few that he does have are worried that his brand of toxic conservatism is going to hurt them in their own countries. Many had predicted a wave of "populist conservative" victories after Trump won the election, but those expected victories never materialized, and they believe that Trump is to blame for it. If this trend continues, these allies fear that conservatives across the globe will feel the backlash.
