House Republicans Draft Bill To Let Donald Trump Seize The Panama Canal

Donald Trump's dream of retaking the Panama Canal could become a reality as Republicans in the House have now drafted legislation that would allow Trump to do exactly that. The bill has several dozen co-sponsors and zero basis in sound logic, but Trump wants it so Republicans are going to bend over backwards to try to make it happen for him.

According to an outside watchdog group, Donald Trump's nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., may have committed felony voter fraud by voting in New York state even though his legal residence is in California. Kennedy's team says that he rents a room in New York, which they say allows him to vote there instead of California, but the watchdog says that isn't how it works. That's actually just one of 15,000 problems that erupted for Kennedy in the past week.

Donald Trump's team has sent Republicans in the Senate a list of the first 100 actions that he is going to be taking as soon as he is sworn in. These actions will be a combination of "executive orders" and "executive actions", with nearly all of them related to deportations and other immigration issues. Trump and his team are hellbent on removing people from the country in spite of the massive cost and economic damage that this is going to inflict on the public.
