Trump Already Using New Year's Attacks To Push For Deportations

Donald Trump is already using the deadly attacks across the country on New Year's Day to push for closing our borders, even though he was wrong about the nationality of one of the attackers. Trump claimed on Truth Social that these attacks were the result of open borders, among other things, and then at 1am on Thursday he posted "Trump was right about everything," in spite of the fact that he was literally wrong about it all. 

Insiders have told reporters that Donald Trump is growing "annoyed" with Elon Musk, but so far the incoming President hasn't attempted to distance himself from the tech mogul. There's a very good reason why Trump is too afraid to dump Musk - in fact, there are multiple reasons. But it all boils down to one thing - Donald Trump is afraid of what Musk could do to him if he gets rid of him. Musk has all the power in that relationship right now.

MAGA supporters in Oregon recently circulated a letter encouraging people to be a part of the "Brown Roundup" by identifying people that they SUSPECT are in the United States illegally so that those names can be turned over to the Trump administration when he takes office. This citizen-driven xenophobia is just the latest in a long string of hatred coming from Trump's supporters since the election, and it only appears to be getting worse. 

Donald Trump tried to flex some muscle this week by endorsing Mike Johnson to remain the Speaker of the House. But plenty of Republicans completely ignored that endorsement and vowed to fight Johnson, while others even openly mocked Trump's endorsement. The former and incoming President doesn't have the level of power that he thought he did, and that has been apparent for the past several weeks in the House.
